PSG are intent on strengthening their depth at goalkeeper, according to reports. On Thursday, Italian newspaper, Metropolis, claim AC Milan shotstopper, Gianluigi Donnarumma, is their main target despite months of being linked to Atlético Madrid man Jan Oblak.
The same report says PSG have offered Donnarumma €12 million a year to sign for them. Mina Raiola is trying to argue that the keeper, who signed a new deal with AC Milan last season, did so under durress which would mean he is free to negotiate with any club starting in January and his current employers might be forced to sell at cut-price. The relationship between the Italian club and Donnarumma, and his entourage, has deteriorated recently, which would also be a factor.
Other Italian media claim Allison, Roma's current number one, could be on PSG's radar. The names being linked is good news for Atlético Madrid, who can be assured that Jan Oblak remains with them until the end of the season at the very least until they get the chance to offer him a massively improved contract offer when they have a clearer picture of their wage bill next season. The Slovenian has wedged his way into debates about the best keeper in the world and is a rock at the back for Diego Simeone's side.
