Barcelona vs Celta live stream online: Copa del Rey 2017/18
Barcelona 5-0 Celta Vigo (6-1 aggregate): match report
Fresh off two excellent draws with Barcelona and Real Madrid, Celta vigo capitulated at the Camp Nou on Thursday night as they bowed out of the Copa del Rey with little struggle.
Lionel Messi had Barcelona ahead after 13 minutes after a strong opening from the home side and when he scored his second, two minutes later, with a second assist from Jordi Alba, there was no way back for Juan Carlos Unzue's side.
Messi returned his left-back's generosity on 28 minutes when he dropped what is fast becoming a trademark pass onto Alba's foot to make it 3-0.
Just three minutes later and Luis Suarez made it three when a sloppy backpass from Pione Sisto was jumped and buried before Celta had even realised they lost the ball.
It was over as a contest at that stage and Valverde got to rest Iniesta and Messi for some of the second half while Gerard Piqué withdrew at the break.
Ivan Rakitic made it a five-star, five-goal night at the Camp Nou with a headed finish from a Ousmane Dembele corner on 87 minutes as Barca march into the last eight of the competition they won last year.

79' Long ball to Jonny and it bounces off his head and out for a throw.
78' Celta not even going forward now with the ball. They've lost the ability to pass since Sunday night when they looked like world beaters.
74' Rakitic strikes from distance. Really ambitious effort. Well wide.
72' Alba again. This time he finds Suarez but he's going too fast and forgets the ball. Attack breaks down and Celta break but same counter as all night as it falls apart before it really begins.
70' Ball sent into Suarez, who hits the ground, and he wants a penalty but the ref says no and he looked to be right.
69' Dembele gets the Camp Nou off their seats with a lovely move, cuts inside and then wins a corner with the strike as it's blocked.
68' Suarez shot again and its saved by Sergio Alvarez.

65' Celta still unable to break down Barcelona. Barca in complete control of this.
63' Maxi Gomez with a lovely move to beat Vermaelen but Semedo saves the day. He was through on goal too.

57' Suarez put through again by Rakitic this time. Another hint of offside but he strikes the post with his effort.
57' Messi and Suarez almost falling over each other to get the shot away. Messi does eventually but it's blocked.
55' Which is understandable because with Barcelona in this form, they are liable to score eight and embarass you but you have to at least try.
54' Celta looking to build something now. They are lacking something tonight. By something, I mean everything, but they have no real plan and their attack very much subdued. They haven't been able to string passes together and incapabale of creating a chance.
53' Semedo plays it onto suarez and he gets a big toes on it but it drifts harmlessly wide.
53' Iniesta trying to find a way through for a fifth but can't. Celta just sitting back and not really pressing Barcelona.

39' Aspas chases down a lose ball but it's touched back to Cillessen and his touch is perfect as Barcelona play it out from the back again.
38' Valverde might start looking to resting some players now with Real Sociedad at the Anoeta coming up. Don't think anyone expected 4-0 after 35 minutes!
37' Alba looking to get in behind but squeezed out that time.
35' The sting gone out of Celta's challenge now entirely. They weren't even angry when the fourth went in, just shocked.
33' Celta with comical defending nearly let Barca in again. Messi shot blocked and it falls to Suarez once again but he was offside.
31' Luis Suárez with a fourth. Sisto gives it away and Celta Vigo are shellshocked. Messi takes it down, loses it as Sisto picks it up and then plays it back tonly to see Suárez steal in and drive it home.
30' Messi with another pass to Suárez this time. he can't connect under pressure from a defender.
28' Far too easy for Barcelona now. They're walking through Celta. Messi with the ball in behind and what a pass that is! Alba just has to knock it home (well, maybe it was slightly more difficult than that but you get the point). Brilliant from Barcelona.
28' Jordi Alba goal!
25' Messi with a lovely header into Suárez' path and he tries a chilena but it's tame and it's wide. Not bad though.

19' Suárez played through by Iniesta but he's offside. Replays suggest it was the wrong call.
19' Rakitic strikes. Over.
19' Celta finally get the ball.
17' That's seven assists for Alba to Messi this season.
16' Celta in all sorts of trouble here. They've looked susceptible since the very start. Not the same attacking intent as they had the last couple of games and really struggling to even hold onto the ball.
14' MESSI again. Slight difference but basically the same thing as the first goal. Messi gave it to the left-back and continued his run and Alba put it on a plate for him.
13' He strikes after the ball came in from the left. Jordi Alba and Luis Suárez dummied to make it look like he was going for the ball and then didn't. Messi on hand to drive home. Sergio Alvarez got a hand to it but not enough.

4' Piqué plays to Messi and he whips it out wide. Ball crossed in by Alba and Celta clear.
4' Cross comes in from the left and Andre Gomes throws his noggin at it but he can't make contact.
3' Messi runs towards the box and is crowded out of it and slides to the ground.
2' a proper battle for possession tonight. Both sides far more comfortable on the ball.
1' Cillessen, taking Ter Stegen's place, with a few very early touches. His long ball to Andre Gomes can't be controlled and Celta win it back.
1' Barcelona start by throwing the ball around at the back.
1' We are underway at the Camp Nou!
A quick glimpse of coutinho before the kick-off! Wearing a very slick shirt.
Philippe Coutinho, after watching the game against Levante in a hotel, is at the Camp Nou officially as a Barcelona player, to watch the game against Celta.
Not sure if it is a tactical switch by Unzue, who sees Piqué and Mascherano back there and thinks Mor can cause more damage to Barcelona's defense than Gomez?
Celta don't say anymore on their twitter account about the change but we will let you know when we know more. Possibly a late injury? gomez listed on the bench now.
Late change for Celta as Maxi Gomez is replaced by Emre Mor.
Sergio Alvarez comes in in goals instead of the impressive Blanco. Fontas and Sergi Gomez replace Roncaglia and Cabral. Lobotka and Jozabed replace Radoja and Tucu Hernandez.
Five changes for Celta from the side that played Real Madrid on Sunday.
Unzue sticks with his attacking four. They have caused Barcelona and Real Madrid untold problems this year. This one is going to be good!
Dembélé, Rakitic, Vermaelen on the bench tonight, which will give them options if they struggle in this one. Some of the younger guns including Aleña and Arnaíz on the bench too but given the stakes, can't see them getting too much playing time.
Cillessen keeps his place for the Copa too. Interesting selection in midfield for Valverde as it looks like he will play Andre Gomes as the furthest midfielder forward.
Mascherano starts despite Yerry Mina signing which theoretically pushes him closer to the door as does Andre Gomes in midfield.
Barcelona XI: Cillessen, Semedo, Piqué, Mascherano, Alba, Busquets, Iniesta, Sergio Roberto, Gomes, Messi, Suárez.
Atlético Madrid, Valencia, Alavés, Leganés and Real Madrid are all through to the last eight of the Copa del Rey. Looks like they will be joined by Sevilla, who lead Cadíz 3-0 over two legs and Espanyol have just overturned a 2-1 1st leg defeat and now lead 2-0 away from home in their game. Barca and Celta Vigo the last one on in this round! Kick-off 21:20 CEST!
Celta Vigo are coming off an excellent result against Real Madrid, 2-2 in LaLiga at Balaídos. This is the toughest week they could have asked for with Barcelona last week and this week with Real Madrid sandwiched in between. They've held their own so far though.
Hello and welcome to our live online coverage of Barcelona versus Celta Vigo from the Camp Nou with kick-off at 21:30. Celta need to score after the 1-1 result in the 1st leg. That might be dangerous for Barcelona though if they try to sit on the lead, which is also unlikely!
Barcelona vs Celta Vigo live stream online: preview
Celta Vigo are coming off an excellent result and performance against Real Madrid in which they drew 2-2 and dominated large spells of the game. They have matched Barcelona every step of the way in their two previous encounters this season too with a 2-2 draw at the Camp Nou followed by a 1-1 draw in the 1st leg of the Copa del Rey last week.
Barcelona are still looking strong in LaLiga and sit at the top of the table along with having a Champions League knock-out tie with Chelsea on the horizon. They might very well have intentions of a treble this season in Ernesto Valverde's first year on the bench and defending their Copa del Rey crown is important to their
Iago Aspas has been a constant pain for Barcelona and he seems to love playing against the blaugranas. The combination of Daniel Wass, a much-improved Pione Sisto and Maxi Goméz up front along with Aspas sitting neatly behind them has been the key to Carlos Unzue's successes in his role as manager of the Galician club and will again rely on his attacking four for ultimate disruption against a Barcelona side who have struggled to live with them this season.
