Real Madrid’s match against PSG on Wednesday may be a last-16 fixture but Zinedine Zidane is approaching it as though it were the final, which in a sense it is for the Frenchman with Real’s season resting on getting past the Ligue 1 giants to the next round of the Champions League.
To promote a sense of unity and highlight the importance of the fixture, the Real boss has taken the decision to name his entire first-team squad for the opening leg of the tie in the Bernabéu, including the injured Jesús Vallejo and Dani Carvajal, who is suspended for Wednesday’s game, along with his son Luca Zidane, who is still recovering from a shoulder problem.
