Kluivert: "Madrid have more experience but PSG will qualify"

El exjugador holandés, Patrick Kluivert.

The former Dutch forward thinks that Real Madrid have a lot of experience but that PSG will qualify for the next round of the Champions League.

Patrick Kluivert spoke to El Larguero on Cadena SER and analysed the knock-out game between Real Madrid and PSG on Wednesday night at the Santiago Bernabeu. The Dutch striker was the sporting director for the French side for a short time. He believes that Real Madrid have more experience but that PSG will qualify. He also spoke about the future of Neymar and his son Justin, who is attracting interest from Real Madrid, Barcelona and other big European teams.

On PSG qualifying: "I think that PSG will go through but it's a thought as I speak now, and as the teams are at this moment, I have them as slight favourites."

The Champions League as a priority: "I think that for PSG the Champions League is a priority but I don't know is they are more prepared than the year before."

Madrid have more experience: "The two sides are prepared but Madrid have more experience."

Emery comes out attacking: "With the players they have, they won't wait for Madrid, but if they are offensive against Madrid, they can do damage."

Preferring PSG's attacks: "I think that the PSG attack has shown that in this moment, they are a very, very potent trident. They score lots of goals. If I have to chose, I'd stick with the attack of PSG."

The future of Neymar: "I don't know if Neymar will end up wearing the white in future. I think that he is happy in Paris, but in football you never know."

The future of his son Justin Kluivert

The young footballer is just 18 and is already standing out at Ajax and is attracting interest from the big European teams. The player recently said that Barcelona are in his heart but that nobody can reject Real Madrid. This is what his father thinks about his son's future.

"He is doing things very well and the most important is that he continues doing so. I have told him that he is 18 years old and he has to be calm and to become stronger, and to stay one year or more at Ajax. He shouldn't leave his country too quickly. It's difficult to say not to Barcelona but the other big teams too. He must pick the team that responds to you game and not the one that pays the most money. I see my son more in the Spanish league, he will select his future with his heart but he has to keep his head and his feet on the ground," said Kluivert.
