José Mourinho is planning a clear-out at Manchester United this summer and has identified a key target to beef up his midfield in Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal.
According to Chilean daily La Cuarta, the Portuguese tactician is willing to table an offer of 50 million euros for the 30-year-old to tempt Bayern into doing business.
Mourinho looking for Carrick, Fellaini replacements
With Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic and the emergence of Scotland international Scott McTominay giving Mourinho options in midfield, the Manchester United manager is looking to cover for the retiring Michael Carrick and Belgium international Marouane Fellaini, who is expected to leave Old Trafford at the end of the current season.
La Cuarta reports that Mourinho is willing to offer Vidal a four-year contract worth 14 million euros a season to lure him from the Allianz Arena.
