Real Madrid have been pitted against old foes Bayern Munich in the 2017/18 Champions League semi-final draw that took place earlier in UEFA's Nyon headquarters.
In the other semi-final tie AS Roma, who surprised the form books by coming back to beat FC Barcelona at the Stadio Olimpico, are rewarded with a tie against Jürgen Klopp's Liverpool side in a game that will see in-form Mo Salah face his former club.
Earlier the draw was made for the Europa League semi-finals with LaLiga's Atlético Madrid drawn against Arsenal, while surprise package Salzburg face Olympique Marseille.
