Neymar tells PSG he's "proud to continue giving you joy"

The Real Madrid target posted a message on Twitter that appeared to offer PSG some encouragement that he could yet stick around.

It's not yet summer, but Paris Saint-Germain's Neymar has for months now been the focus of all the transfer-market attention

Neymar takes to social media following kit launch

The latest episode in the developing saga surrounding the forward's future came on Saturday morning, when the Real Madrid target offered PSG an apparent olive branch following the launch of the Ligue 1 side's 2018/19 kit.

"Proud to wear the jersey and to continue giving you joy," he wrote on social media, having appeared front and centre in PSG's publicity for their new strip.

Neymar reported to have told PSG team-mates he's leaving

It's a message that will have encouraged bosses of the Parisian outfit during testing times in which it has been rumoured that the Brazilian is now making firm plans to leave the Parc des Princes to join Real.

Indeed, it has been reported that Neymar this week told PSG team-mates including Thiago Silva, Marco Verratti, Javier Pastore, Marquinhos and Thiago Motta that he has no intention of returning to the French capital after the World Cup.

Cristiano and Neymar compatible, says Zidane

Speaking on Friday, Real boss Zinedine Zidane said he has not asked Los Blancos to sign Neymar - but indicated his belief that the 26-year-old and Cristiano Ronaldo can play together, declaring: "There's always chemistry between the best".
