Monaco and Real Madrid had practically reached an agreement for Kylian Mbappé for 180 million euros. But before the deal was done, the 19-year-old decided againt a move to the Bernabéu in favor of PSG. This is according to Monaco vice-president, Vadim Vasilyev, who was speaking with Canal Plus in France.
"I remember we were training and Madrid called me and said: 'We will pay the 180 million euros for Mbappé.' I told Kylian: 'We received an impossible offer to refuse, it is the club of your dreams. Tell me your answer," said Vasilyev.
But while the young French international has shown his admiration for 'Los Blancos', he decided to go to Paris.
"We never decided for him. It was up to him to make his decision, and he said, 'I want to go to Paris'," said Vasilyev.
