Vinicius sends another message to Lopetegui with goal for Castilla

Vinicius scored a neat free-kick for Real Madrid Castilla after two goals by Cristo to send another message Lopetegui's way as he pushes for playing time.

Real Madrid Castilla continued their good start to the season with an impressive 3-0 win over Unionistas on Sundat afternoon in Valdebebas. Better than their start is their home form. They have turned the Alfredo di Stefano into somewhat of a fortress after a very convincing win over Las Palmas Atletico on the first weekend of the season and have followed that up with their most recent dominating display.

Santiago Solari, who remains suspended after being sent off against Atlético Madrid, made a number of changes with Moha in goal, Ayoub and Martín Calderón in the engine room and with the return of Vinicius. He missed the game against Union Adarve as the club look to protect him from some hostile environments and some harsh treatment after what happened at Atlético, which included an unsavoury biting incident.

Lopetegui said Vinicius needs some more "cooking time" after arriving from Brazil but he is playing some lovely football and the Real Madrid manager must be impressed with what he has seen so far from the €45 million man.
