The first set of games are almost upon us in the 2018/19 Champions League group stage, but with a change to the schedule, make sure you don't miss them.

A new edition of the Champions League begins and with it come a change to the schedule. We all became so accustomed to the 20:45 (CEST) timeslot of recent years, but now UEFA have established times that will be used throughout the competition: 18:55 and 21:00.

Previously, only exceptional circumstances e.g. the Russian climate, would see an alternative kick-off time but now we will see a split, meaning an opportunity to watch even more live football. These are the Champions League matches scheduled for today, Tuesday 18 September:

Champions League schedule (all times CEST)

18:55

Inter Milan vs Tottenham

Barcelona vs PSV - live with AS English

21:00

Brugge vs Borussia Dortmund

Monaco vs Atlético Madrid

Red Star Belgrade vs Napoli

Liverpool vs PSG - live with AS English

Galatasaray vs Lokomotiv Moscow

Schalke 04 vs Porto

Inter Milan's Argentine forward Mauro Icardi stretches during a training session on the eve of the Champions League group stage football match Inter Milan vs Tottenham.

Group B opens up proceedings with two interesting encounters. Inter Milan's return to the top table means Mauro Icardi tastes Champions League football for the first time against Tottenham. Harry Kane and co. will be keen to get back to winning ways after two defeats in the Premier League. Spanish clubs will also be represented in tonight's early slot as many people's tournament favourites, Barcelona, look to start their assault against PSV, led by Hirving Lozano.

As if that wsan't enough for one evening, free-scoring Liverpool and PSG meet at Anfield in what could be an absolute cracker. Salah, Mane and (injury permitting) Firmino vs Neymar, Mbappé and Cavani. Anyone for a 0-0? Atlético are also in action as they travel to Monaco looking to make amends for a poor group stage last year.
