Qatar 2022: spectacular stadiums generating massive expectation

The Qatar 2022 World Cup stadiums continue to advance and some of the aerial images from the works are generating massive expectation.

Qatar continue to build the infrastructure needed for the World Cup in 2022 with two months before the four year countdown to the tournament, a symbolic moment, which takes place in November 2022. The country continues to take giant leaps forward in planning and preparing for the event as aerial images showing us the state-of-the-art stadiums begin to appear. The first stadium was ready five years ahead of schedule and the rest have been revealed with updates on their progress too.

The Education City Stadium, Al Bayt Stadium and Al Wakrah are some of the stadiums generating the most expectation especially after the images were published and word from the planning committee that they are already in an advanced state was passed on. The last two will be the next to open with Al Rayyan and Al Thumama also moving steadily forward. Works are also underway at the venue of the final and the opening game, Lusail.

The Qatar World Cup will be played from November 21st to December 18th in 2022. There will be eiht stadiums within 50 kilometres and you can move between them on the subway. It also means the teams, and fans, won't have to change hotels for the month.
