The French defender spoke after Eibar beat Real Madrid 3-0 at Ipurua and says his side are not playing well as a collective with a need for change.
Raphael Varane spoke to the media after Eibar's victory over Real Madrid for the first time ever, which was also Santiago Solari's first loss as the manager of the club.
First loss for Solari: "Eibar played a direct game and it was complicated. When we lost the individual battles, it hurt us. Between their strong pressure and winning the second balls, we couldn't do anything."
Imposing Eibar: "We have the quality to play but collectively we aren't good. Against their direct game, we were lost. We couldn't find solutions. We tried to play but we could play our football and it's a collective problem. We have to be united and continue working, like always."
19 goals conceded in LaLiga: "It's a collective problem. We have to improve in this aspect to win games. We are aware of the situation."
Step back after the managerial change: "We had a good run going but now we have lost again. We will try to come back and win to get back the good dynamic."
