The Costa Rican goalkeeper has spoken about his situation on Spanish television.
Since Santiago Solari took the reins at Real Madrid, Keylor Navas has been cut out of the picture. The Argentinean coach has made it quite clear that his first choice goalkeeper is Thibaut Courtois, who arrived from Chelsea this summer for 35 million euros. The Belgian has started every LaLiga and Champions League game for Solari, while Navas has had to make do with one start, in the Copa del Rey fixture against Melilla.
And Costa Rican goalkeeper made his feelings known in an interview aired on Spanish television on Thursday night. "I’ve gone from winning three consecutive Champions Leagues to not playing,” said a bemused Navas to the El Chiringuito program.

While Julen Lopetegui was in charge, Navas and Courtois were part of a rotational system, with the Costa Rican chosen for Champions League games and the Belgian for LaLiga fixtures. But that system has not been continued by Solari, leaving Navas with an uncertain future at the Bernabéu.
