"Pogba's an idiot; it's not all Mourinho's fault" - Paul Ince

"Pogba's an idiot; it's not all Mourinho's fault" - Paul Ince

Paul Ince labelled the French midfielder "average" and with attitude problems: "It's always a drama with Pogba, he's doing nothing to deserve a place in the side".

Paul Ince has spoken out about Paul Pogba's situation at Manchester United and feels that it's because the midfielder isn't pulling his weight that the team is suffering. Ince also took the blame away from José Mourinho, with whom Pogba has had numerous run-ins. The best solution, would be for Pogba to leave Old Trafford.

"Pogba's supposed to be world class, but he looks bang average. If he thinks his place is to come on the pitch and do stupid little flicks and tricks which lead to them losing the ball – he's an idiot. You can blame José Mourinho for some things, but you can't blame him for everything. Pogba doesn't help him himself, and he's right to be dropped. You can see the mood of the fans changing, and their attitude and tolerance towards Pogba too. It's rare that United players would boo a player, but they're getting sick of his behaviour. There aren't many United fans that would be sad to see him go. The attitude of the fans to me seems to be that if he's that desperate to leave Old Trafford – he should just go. In fact, that would be the best outcome for everyone involved", Ince said, in declarations picked up by The Independent.

Pogba could return to Juventus

During the past few months rumours that the French midfielder could soon be leaving Manchester United have gathered pace. At the start of the season, it was hoped that Pogba would finally start delivering for Mourinho's team but that hasn't happened. The player's agent, Mino Raiola, is looking for a club to facilitate Pogba's exit and the most likely option is that he will return to his former club, Juventus.
