Clement Lenglet spoke ahead of Tottenham's trip to Barcelona for the final game of the Champions League group stage on Tuesday night and discussed Ousmane Dembélé's situation at the club.

"I haven't spoken with my teammates about what happened with Ousmane because he was at home today," he said. "I don't have a clue what will happen. The important thing is what he does on the field and he is doing really well."

The French defender said he doesn't know if he will be sanctioned for his most recent tardiness. "You have to ask people who have an opinion about these things and have to do something. I don't know what will happen with Ousmane or if he will be punished."

Lenglet, a friend of the French winger, says he is only interested in what Dembélé does on the field. "Ousmane is doing well on the field. We have spoken about the non-sporting things but when he has played, he has done well. He has done good work for the team and that's what interests me."

Dembélé's time-keeping has been an increasingly worrying issue recently and he was left out of the squad against Real Betis, a game which they lost, after he didn't show up for training. He later complained that he was sick and slept in after being kept up all night by the stomach bug.
