Munir's agent accuses Barcelona of not keeping their promises
The player's agent says Ernesto Valverde informed the player that he would not be called up unless he renewed and can leave on a free at the end of the season.
Munir's agent has accused Barcelona's sporting directors, Ernesto Valverde and the board of not keeping their promises from the start of the season regarding his client and playing time that he was assured over.
According to Francisco Valdivieso, Munir has been told by the Barcelona manager that he would not be brought into any squad of his without renewing his contract. He is free to leave on June 30th and has plenty of offers on the table.
"The week against Celta Vigo, Munir got the news from the manager that he was not going to call him up until he decided to renew and he is very disappointed," said the agent.
"The player is very grateful to Barcelona and is absolutely committed to the club because he knows he has a contract until June, but the big kick in the teeth is that after the promises that the sporting directors made and the manager at the start of the year, the have not relied on him," he said.
The agent did say that "there are many teams interested in him."
