Asian Cup 2019: Round of 16

Following the conclusion of today's Group E action, we now know the composition of the teams and definitive fixture list of the Asian 2019 Cup Round of 16.

The next phase starts on Sunday (January 20) with Dubai's Al Maktoum Stadium hosting the first game as Group B winners Jordan face Vietnam. Thailand then face China in Al Ain with highly rated Iran against Oman closing Sunday's action.

Monday also sees three games with Japan and Saudi Arabia opening proceedings. Current holders Australia will be hoping to improve their group stage performances as they face Uzbekistan in Al Ain. The clash between host nation UAE and Kyrgyzstan brings the round of Monday games to a close with full house guaranteed at the Zayed Sports Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

The final two ties of the second phase take place on Tuesday with South Korea facing Bahrain in Dubai at 17:00 with the Al Nahan Stadium in Abu Dhabi hosting the final game in the round of 16 as Qatar play Iraq with a place in the quarter final at stake.
