Atlético Madrid's French forward picked up the Cinco Estrellas Player of the Month award for December and spoke about tomorrow's trip to Huesca.
Griezmann was named LaLiga's Player of the Month for December and spoke today to Atlético's media department. The French forward looked ahead to tomorrow's game at Huesca and commented on the team's form on the road. Atlético have won just twice away from home (against Getafe and Valladolid) and drawn six. It has been the team's home form which has kept them in the top four, where they are five points behind leaders Barcelona. "Every game we play away from home is tough and that will continue. Teams sit back and wait for us and then they have the support of their fans to lift them. It's up to us to be stronger and hopefully we can come away with all three points tomorrow", Griezmann said.
We'll keep battling - Griezmann
As for the general mood in the Atleti camp, he added: "We're fine, we're battling for top spot, there are still a lot of games to get through and so we'll see where we end up. We want to win all of our remaining games and leave nothing aside. It's important to have support from our fans and last month they helped me to elevate my level. The award is all down to them and my team mates. Hopefully I can continue helping them".
