Olé: Messi set to make Argentina return
The Argentinian sports paper reported that the Barça player will play for the Albiceleste against Venezuela, in Madrid, and Morocco, in Rabat.
Leo Messi is set to return to the Argentina set-up, according to Argentinian sports paper Olé. Although there is not yet official confirmation from either national team coach Lionel Scaloni or AFA president Claudio Tapia, Messi is believed to have spoken to the trainer to discuss his intentions.
The Barça forward has not spoken about the issue since Argentina were knocked out of the World Cup by France, but both Scaloni and Tapia were confident in La Pulga's return and asked for calm in the media.
Venezuela and Morocco
As a result, Messi is likely to pull on the Albiceleste jersey once again for matches against Venezuela, in Madrid, and Morocco, in Rabat. There is also confirmation that Ángel Di María will be among the squad.
