Footage that incriminates Ramos: "A card, will I look for it?"
GOL have released footage of the game in which Ramos asks the bench and his teammates if he should go looking for the yellow card that will see him miss the return leg.
Footage from Real Madrid's game against Ajax on Wednesday night contradicts Sergio Ramos' denial that he forced the yellow card that will see him miss the return leg.
The Real Madrid captain will miss second leg at the Santiago Bernabéu and will have a clean slate in the quarter-finals should they make it that far after getting booked for fouling Jasper Dolberg late in the game in Amsterdam.
He admitted that he forced the yellow in the mixed zone after the game but has since run back those quotes and said he didn't go looking for it.
But images from the game see him looking to the bench and asking Nacho and Modic if he should get the card. "Card," he says. "Will I look for it?"
UEFA could ban the player for two games for trying to get the card. In that eventuality, he would miss the return leg and the first leg of a quarter-final should they make it that far.
