The Barcelona forward and PSG star were both on target this weekend and lead the ranking with 50 and 44 points respectively.

Leo Messi's hat trick against Sevilla has enabled him to stretch his lead at the top of the 2019 Golden Show rankings. The Barcelona forward is on 25 goals, and tops the table on 50 points as each goal in LaLiga Santander isn worth two points.

In second place is Kylian Mbappé, who was also on target this weekend. He is on 22 goals and 44 points due to the double coefficient in Ligue 1. The PSG ace has been given more responsibilities while Neymar and Edinson Cavani have been sidelined with injury and while he struggled during the early stages of Saturday's game against Nimes, he added another two goals to his tally late in the match.

Both players have now opened up a lead over Cristiano Ronaldo, who failed to score in Juventus' home win over Bologna (Paulo Dybala hit the only goal of the game). As it stands, Cristiano is on 19 goals and 38 points although it must be pointed out that out of the top three, Cristiano and Messi have 13 games left to play while Mbappé has 12.

In fourth is Krzysztof Piatek with 18 goals and 36 points for AC Milan. He gained some ground on Cristiano after finding the net against Empoli at the weekend. Behind him are four players on 17 goals - injury-hit Edinson Cavani (PSG), Sergio Agüero (Manchester City) and Fabio Quagliarella (Sampdoria), Mohamed Salah (Liverpool). In ninth, 10th and 11th with 16 goals are Luis Suárez (Barcelona), Nicolas Pépé (Lille) and Duván Zapata (Atalanta).
