The out-of-favour midfielder was left out of the 19-man squad, despite Vinicius, Bale and Lucas Vázquez all being ruled out through injury.

Isco's season and standing at Real Madrid continues to plummet and in this latest chapter the man from Málaga has been left out of Solari's 19-man squad to face Valladolid on Sunday evening, despite the injuries to Vinicius, Bale, and Lucas Vázquez. "In order to play you have to be in good physical shape and be competitive," Solari said in Saturday's pre-match press conference when asked about Isco's situation after the midfielder had apologised to the rest of his team-mates in mid-week after to reacting badly to being left out for the Ajax game.

With Carvajal also injured, Odriozola, Vallejo, Seoane, Brahim and Cristo will travel north up the motorway, as will Sergio Ramos, despite his suspension.
