The Juve hardcore have been on "strike" all season and have been demanding no other fans chant during home or away games as anti-Agnelli graffiti appears.

Tension has been ensuing all season at the Allianz Stadium with the hardcore ultras declaring an animation ban all season with the ultras also demanding that those seated close to their 'curva' also desist from supporting the Serie A side. The ban was also evident in the recent first leg of the Round of 16 Champions League tie at the away section of the Wanda Metropolitano, with many Juve fans later complaining of threatening behaviour towards them if they cheered the side.

Things came to a head last Friday as Juve welcomed Udinese in Serie A. The curva broke their silence in the traditional 39th minute when the victims of Heysel were remembered with a chant against Liverpool and the fans singing “we are Juve". This was welcomed with a series of whistles from the rest of the crowd at the Allianz Stadium.

Juventus' Italian forward Moise Kean (2ndL) celebrates opening the scoring with teammates during the Italian Serie A football match Juventus vs Udinese on March 8, 2019 at the Juventus Allianz stadium in Turin.

Yesterday graffiti appeared in and around the stadium with messages aimed against president Agnelli and the current board of directos mocking what they called "theatre stadium".

The root of the issue according to Curva Sud members is the ongoing price hikes in season and match day tickets along with reduced rapport with the club hierarchy.

The protest was anticipated to continue for Tuesday's key Champions League Round of 16 return leg in Turin against Atletico with the Italian side trailing 0-2 from the first leg in Madrid but earlier on Sunday the Curva Sud Drughi ultras announced that as a one off the animation ban will be lifted.
