Inter line up Valencia's Rodrigo as cover for Mauro Icardi exit
It's not the first time that the Spanish club has received interest in their Spanish forward but the Serie A side are reported to be very keen.
The future of goalscorer Mauro Icardi remains a significant concern for Inter Milan as they plan for next season, and one of the stars of LaLiga could be set to fill the attacking void if, indeed, the Argentine leaves for pastures new.
Rodrigo for Inter's Icardi void?
With a contract still not finalised to remain in Serie A, and with rumours continuing about Real Madrid's desire, preparation for a replacement striker is seen as prudent. According to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport one of the options high on the list is Valencia's Rodrigo Moreno, alongside the likes of Roma's Edin Dzeko and Frankfurt's Luka Jović.

The Spanish player has a contract until 2022 and a release clause of 120 million euros, showing his value to manager Marcelino at the club, and this is not the first time interest has been shown. The general feeling is that no offer would be satisfactory, although Inter have the option to trigger the clause and tempt the player.
