Outrage as boxer kisses female reporter during interview

Heavyweight boxer Kubrat Pulev grabbed reporter Jenny SuShe by the chin before forcefully kissing her on the lips during a post-fight interview.

Heavyweight boxer Kubrat Pulev has caused outrage after kissing a female reporter on the lips during an interview after his match against Bogdan Dinu.

The Bulgarian boxer, who had a heavy cut above his left eye after he had defeated Dinu with a seventh-round KO – was asked by reporter Jenny SuShe if he believed he deserved “a shot” at Tyson Fury. Immediately after responding “yes”, Pulev proceeded to grab SuShe by the chin and forcefully kiss her on the lips before walking off.

A clearly startled and uncomfortable reporter tried to laugh off the incident, saying “Jesus Christ” as Pulev walked away. But Pulev’s act of sexual harassment has caused outrage on social media, with boxing journalist Chris Lloyd stating on Twitter: “This is not 'Alpha as f***', it's called sexual assault. This woman responds in the way too many women have to when they're afraid of men, it's called de-escalation.”

Following the incident, SuShe took to Twitter to call Pulev’s actions “(a little) embarrassing” and “strange”.
