The French attacker is out of the Atlético Madrid game and might not make it to Old Trafford but he could be in the squad as Barcelona look to avoid risks.

Ousmane Dembélé, who suffered a hamstring injury on March 13 and was set to miss between three to four weeks, returned to training with his teammates on Thursday ahead of two massive game for the LaLiga leaders.

They will not force the player, who has a history of hamstring injuries since joining the club after missing five months of his debut season at Barcelona with a similar setback.

He will not make the Atlético Madrid game, which doesn't seem like a huge blow with Barcelona sitting eight points clear at the top of LaLiga, but he could be called into Ernesto Valverde's squad for the Manchester United game next week in the Champions League quarter-final first leg at Old Trafford.

No more risks with Dembélé

Valverde admitted that he took a risk with Dembélé for the Lyon game but they are not willing to take the same risks again because another recurrence of the injury could rule him out for the rest of the season.

They will leave it until late to decide whether to feature against United but they might use him in the second half if the game calls for him and his recovery continues to go to plan.
