The Frenchman is getting ready to reunite with his longtime friend Carlos Vela as Atlético Madrid will play against the MLS Stars during the summer.
The 2019 MLS All-Star Game is ready and set, and Spanish team Atlético Madrid is getting prepared for the summer match in Orlando Florida.
One of the most excited players about this game is the Frenchman Antoine Griezmann, who is looking forward to reuniting with Carlos Vela. The Atleti striker has been open about his wish to retire in the MLS and to play in the United States; this game is his chance to do it... for now at least.
Griezmann and Vela challenged each other
Antoine Griezmann is promoting the July 31st match in a video in which he's observed browsing Instagram and watching goals scored by Vela and Zlatan. He received a Twitter notification about the MLS Stars vs. Atlético Madrid.
The Frenchman's reaction was to write to his friend Carlos where all the taunting and challenging was set, one by promising a double, the other replying with, "I will be busy celebrating my hat-trick." This game will be the perfect setting for both to face each other again.

Griezmann and Vela met when they both played together for three years at Real Sociedad, where they became a lethal duo for the Spanish team, taking the club all the way into the Champions League in the 2013/14 season.
