Full-time | New England Revolution 0-3 Chelsea - Charity Match

New England Revolution and Chelsea FC played in a friendly match at the Gillette Stadium. The 'Final Whistle on Hate' promotes equality and tolerance through sport, an initiative that owners Abramovic and Robert Kraft are completely behind.

Chelsea traveled to the United States for the match, and they headed onto the pitch with a star line-up led by Hazard and Giroud. The Blues were looking to put on a show for the fans, not only those present in the stadium, but also those watching at home.

Ross Barkley was the one to first make a change to the scoreboard, and then finished proceedings by scoring the third, and winning, goal of the match after tapping home Higuain's shot, Giroud scored the second goal. The Revs sought to create opportunities throughout the game, but they failed to find the back of Chelsea's net despite creating chances as the Blues let them play for much of the match.

Chelsea left the game with bad news, however, as Loftus-Cheek abandoned the field with an apparent leg injury, which puts him at risk for the Europa League final against Arsenal.
