The first confirmed presentation of the season is Adidas unveiling the home and away shirts for the forthcoming campaign with the classic white shirt set to feature gold stripes with the 19-20 away shirt a dark navy colour and the club hoping that Eden Hazard is the first of the new signings to sport the new season kit despite Chelsea's initial bid rejections.

Ferland Mendy is the other player expected to arrive at the club in early June with the French international's acquisition all but complete with some final small-print contractual details remaining outstanding.

Under-21 delay

The deal with striker Luka Jovic was confirmed today with the player joining Madrid on a five year deal from Eintracht Frankfurt but his participation with Serbia at the forthcoming UEFA U-21 competition may see his official presentation delayed.

The final player high on Zidane's wanted list is Paul Pogba. But as much as the French international and Zidane want the deal to happen, it will be a complicated procedure. Although Zidane is clear about what the Manchester United midfielder can bring to the Bernabéu, he has not yet convinced Madrid president Florentino Perez.

United are also reluctant to leave him go, and furthermore, his agent, Mino Raiola, who does not maintain a good relationship with Perez, is another obstacle standing in the way of his move to the Spanish capital. Aside from Madrid, Juventus, where he played from 2012 to 2016, are also keen to bring him back to Turin.
