Beckham is pursuing Ecuadorian right-winger Valencia as the Englishman wants him to join his new MLS team. The player would arrive at Miami as a free agent.

The newly free agent, Antonio Valencia is one of David Beckham's targets for his new MLS franchise Inter Miami, and according to The Sun, Beckham is keen on getting the former Manchester United star.

One of the reasons Beckham wants to bring Antonio Valencia to Miami is the fact that the Spice Boy knows the Ecuadorian's style of play and he's familiar with how Manchester United works, being a major plus as David wants to implement that system at Inter Miami.

The 33-year-old player knows he's in the final stages of his career; however, he still thinks he can play two or three more years at the highest level.

Valencia, who is part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer massive roster cut where the Manchester United coach left out 15 players like Ander Herrera or James Wilson, will review his options before making a decision, but the MLS in 2020 is very feasible.

Copa America

Valencia will decide his next step once Copa America ends, as at the moment the Ecuadorian is focused on the tournament and with his national team. Some of the options Valencia has besides the MLS are Turkish club, Galatasaray and the Liga MX.
