Josep Guardiola had an outstanding season with Manchester City, winning four local titles, the English Premier League, Community Shield, FA Cup, and League Cup - and the Catalan strategist is now off on his well-deserved vacations.

Guardiola visited the MLS sister franchise of the Citizens during his holidays at New York City, where he witnessed at Yankee Stadium the match between NYC FC and FC Cincinnati where the home team won 5-2.

The Spanish coach has been linked in the past to the MLS, most recently in March when journalist Ian McGarry mentioned the 48-year-old strategist could end up in the New York box when his time with the Citizens concluded. "The option to coach at New York City FC will be offered when Guardiola wants to leave Manchester City," McGarry informed.

But despite the many rumors, that also set Guardiola at Juventus, the multi-champion strategist will return with Man City next month for the beginning of the preseason which will take place in Japan on July 27, and perhaps he would end up in New York as McGarry said.
