The couple had planned and organised the event or several months, making a huge investment to make their special day unforgettable. Although, reportedly they haven't had to bear the brunt of the investment by themselves.
According to a local news outlet in Seville, the hometown of Ramos and the location for the lavish celebration, there is a series of expenses related to the event for which Amazon is footing the bill. Diario Sevilla claims to have gathered the information from sources close to the wedding organisation, who say the company owned by billionaire Jeff Bezos helped to pay for the event.
So why has Amazon paid for Sergio Ramos’ wedding? Well, the Real Madrid star is currently developing an eight-part docuseries with Amazon’s video content platform, Amazon Prime, which will offer a look into the day-to-day life of the player. And his wedding to Rubio is set to be featured in the series.

Ramos himself announced he was making the series in January through a video shared on his social media channels, saying that the show will cover aspects of his life "not only on the field but also off it.” As such, his wedding will likely take up a full half-hour episode.
