Globoesporte claims that Barcelona have already made contact with the player's camp and an offer is ready for PSG, who are reportedly open to his sale.
Speculation linking Neymar with a return to Barcelona has intensified recently and PSG chairman did little to quell talk when, last weekend, he stated that he was no longer going to tolerate “celebrity behaviour” , bemoaning the players' attitudes at the Parc de Princes.
While Al Khelaifi did not make reference to Neymar direclty, the club are reportedly not in favour of his “primadonna” status and trips back to Brazil to party while he was injured last season.
According to French outlet L’Equipe, it is one of the reasons why PSG would be open to selling him, along with doubts regarding his ankle and the fact that Mbappé now equals his star qualities both on the pitch and off it.
Barcelona will offer 100 million plus a player exchange
Meanwhile, in Brazil, Globoesporte is claiming that Barcelona have already made contact with the player’s camp to discuss his return to Camp Nou. The Brazilian outlet reports that the Catalan club are willing to pay 100 million for the PSG striker, and include the likes of Dembélé, Umtiti or Rakitic as part of the deal.
Neymar is understood to be open to a move back to Camp Nou and several Barcelona players have expressed their openness to the 27-year-old’s return to the club he left for Paris for 222 million euros in 2017.
"I personally am praying for him to come because he is a star, it is indisputable, and I think that the better players the team have, the better," his compatriot, Barcelona midfielder, Arthur, told Mundo Deportivo back in December.
Luis Suarez has recently described his time playing with the Brazilian at Camp Nou one as “one of the best moments I have experienced”, while Arturo Vidal said Neymar returning to Barcelona "would be very nice".
"He is dearly liked there," added the Chilean.
Real Madrid also monitoring Neymar’s situation
With reports that both Neymar and PSG may look favourably on his departure, Barcelona could find competition for his signature from their LaLiga rivals Real Madrid.
Goal reports this Tuesday that Madrid are also monitoring his situation at Parc de Princes and are interested in the prospect of bringing him to the Spanish capital.
However, Los Blancos are aware of the complication of the situation given his ties with Barça and the prospective financial investment such a move could entail.
