Manchester United rejected Real Madrid's offer of James plus €30M for Paul Pogba - The Times

Real Madrid continue in their pursuit of Paul Pogba. In England, The Times report that Manchester United have rejected an offer from Madrid, who allegedly proposed including James Rodriguez plus 30 million euros for Pogba. That offer is nowhere near United's estimate of the player's market value...

Deadline day approaching

United, who are adamant that Pogba will not be sold for a fee lower than 170 million euros, were willing to listen to Madrid's proposal. This will be a key week for United who have until 5pm on Thursday to find a suitable replacement if Pogba ends up leaving. While speculation regarding the French midfielder's future hasn't ceased, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists that Pogba will still be at Old Trafford when the new Premier League kicks off later this month.

Pogba didn't travel to Cardiff with his team mates for Saturday's friendly against AC Milan. Despite being in the initial squad list, the midfielder was dropped at the last minute due to a back problem but that didn't stop him turning out for the Under-23s along with Alexis Sánchez in a closed doors game against Blackburn Under-23s yesterday.
