Del Bosque: "Neymar's a good player but he does a lot of stupid things - he's not an example"
Vicente del Bosque chatted to Cadena SER's El Larguero programme about the best players in the world right now and confirmed his coaching days are over.
Vicente del Bosque was one of the guests on Cadena SER's El Larguero programme this morning. The former Spain coach gave his opinion on who, for him, are the best players in the world right now. He also made it clear that he won't return to coaching and said he would be disappointed if there was a situation in which there were no Catalan clubs in LaLiga.
Messi is the best: "For me, yes, he's the best. Messi is the best player of all-time but that's not to take anything away from Cristiano Ronaldo. Last year, someone dared to claim that Cristiano Ronaldo was finished, that it didn't matter if he left. Messi and Cristiano have no limits".
Del Bosque impressed with Mbappé and Vinicius
Kylian Mbappé: "Mbappé has all the qualities to be Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi's successor but he still has to fine-tune his game a little. The same thing can be said about Vinicius - even though he still has some way to go".
As a player? Neymar: "Between Neymar and Mbappé - Neymar. He does a lot of stupid things and he's not an example to follow at all, but as a player, he's very good".
Valverde and the 'crisis' at Barça: "Ernesto Valverde is more than capable of taking the situation forward at Barcelona".
No plans to returns to coaching: "I don't miss it at all. Will I ever coach again? No way, not a chance. I've already been at two of the best places a coach can be (Real Madrid and the Spanish national team)".
Luis Enrique: "There are no words to describe the terrible things that Luis Enrique has been through, it's just not possible".
Nice guy: "I'd rather people thought of me as a good person than a good coach".
Ansu Fati: "The attitude which Ansu Fati shows is unusual to see in such a young lad. Spanish football is going to benefit from a player who has spent practically his whole life here in Spain".
LaLiga without Barça: "It would hurt me a great deal if Catalan clubs were not able to play in the Spanish league".
Piqué: "Piqué's a lovely guy and very disciplined".
