Robert Moreno: "Ansu Fati is available for call-up and could be with us at Euro 2020"
Spain's coach attended the media at Madrid's Prado Museum, and announced his squad for this month's Euro 2020 meetings with Malta and Romania.

The Prado Museum in Madrid, which is celebrating its bicentenary, was the unusual setting chosen for Spain coach Robert Moreno's press conference on Friday. Robert took questions from the media and announced his squad list for the forthcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Malta and Romania.
Morata: "Morata is scoring a lot of goals and has found consistency. At the end of the day it's about having competition and Morata's in a good moment of form and he can help us".
Sergio Ramos and Luis Rubiales' dinner: "I wasn't invited, they don't have to give me any explanation and it's not a big deal. With both of them I have good comunication".
Piqué: "Piqué said at the time that he had retired from international football and since then we haven't considered calling him up. He said he was quitting the national team and that was that".

More minutes for Spain hopefuls
Dani Parejo: "It would be a lack of respect on my part to talk about those who haven't been called up this time, which is the case with Dani Parejo. All I am concerned about is that our Spanish players get as much playing time as possible with their respective clubs".
Isco: "Isco isn't in the list either. I'd like all of the great Spanish players to be playing regularly with their teams - I'm not going to say any more on the matter than that".
Criticism for the way Spain has been playing: "I can't control the criticism, maybe after the past two draws I said things that I shouldn't. I'd like everyone to unite as one. People in the street and very kind when they speak to me and everyone is excited about the national team. It's down to us, with good football and good results to generate that feeling of hope".

A place for Ansu Fati with Spain
Ansu Fati: "Ansu Fati is in the preliminary list and so there is no reason why he can't be with us at Euro 2020. He ticks all the boxes".
New contract: "I haven't been offered the chance to renew and nor am I expecting it to happen in the near future. If you were to ask me how long do I expect to be in the job - I would like to still be here for the Euros and the World Cup - so at least for one whole period. But that will depend on the results, that's how it is for all coaches".
Paulista: "Gabriel Paulista is processing his passport but right now he cannot be called up. When he gets his Spanish passaport we'll see. There are a lot of very good players but only 23 are able to make the squad. Out of a list of 45 players, we end up selecting the 23 who we think will do the best".
Dani Olmo: "Dani Olmo enjoyed a great tournament with the Under-21s (Euro U21) and he's doing well for his club in the Champions League. We're very happy to be able to give him this opportunity".
