The Real Madrid winger said he'd do what he could to get the PSG star to the Bernabéu, and believes that the Ballon d'Or winner should be Red.

Eden Hazard has no doubt that Kylian Mbappé "will be one of the best players in history" and, if he can, he would do all he could to "help" bring him to Real Madrid.

Hazard help for Mbappé to Madrid

"In a few years he will be the best player in the world. He is a great talent," remarked the Belgian winger to Le Parisien.

"If he continues like this, Kylian will go down as one of the best players in history. A footballer always dreams of playing with the best and if tomorrow I was able to help bring him to Real Madrid, I would try.

"Although, I don't think anyone will ask me for an opinion," he modestly added.

'Benzema would make France stronger'

As well as talk of a potentially dazzling Hazard-Mbappé link-up in the future, the Madrid star also commented on his current strike partner Karim Benzema's possible return to the French national team.

"I can only judge him by his performances, the rest is a problem for the French.

"It's not normal that Karim is not called up because he is the best forward at the moment. He scores and plays for the best club in the world. France are already strong without Karim but with him they'd be even stronger."

'Ballon d'Or winner should be Red'

Asked who he would give the Ballon d'Or to this year, Hazard's attention was drawn back to the Premier League stating that he thinks "a Liverpool player" deserves it after their European and domestic exploits.

He named Mané, Salah and Van Dijk as his preferred winners and added that "If Sadio had won the African Cup then there would be no debate, but also Salah, who is my friend."
