Real Madrid have released their Spanish Super Cup squad list, which will be played in Saudi Arabia. The semi-final against Valencai takes place on Wednesday with the final, if they get there on Sunday January 12.

Zidane has called all of the available players as always. Brahim and Mariano, two players on the brink of leaving the club, are in the squad too. James will also travel after training with the group since December 19 but not being called up by Zidane. Lucas and Marcelo will also be on the flight. Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio won't travel and neither will Gareth Bale or Karim Benzema.

Before flying out, the team trained in Valdebebas to prepare for the next game. The session was light with a circuit based on shooting, control and pressure. They had a small-sided game before taking shots on goal. Hazard and Asensio continued their recovery on their own.
