The Real Madrid midfielder gave an interview to Libero and spoke about the values he learned at the club's academy and what it's like to pull on the white shirt.

Casemiro: "At Madrid's academy, you see the other side of football"

Casemiro has given an interview to Libero magazine about playing for Real Madrid Castilla and representing the club. The midfielder says playing for the club is the dream of any footballer.

"People ask me how it is to play for Real Madrid Castilla and in the academy," he said. "I always tell them it's the everybody's dream. You have people who signed for €6 million, €80 million, €50 million, €45 million. It's a dream for everyone in the world, to come to Madrid to like a star."

The Brazilian otulined just how important it was, however, to have developed at 'La Fabrica' as he learned very early what the club stands for and how to conduct yourself as a Real Madrid player.

"I always say that, for me, it has been a pleasure and a huge honor to have played at Real Madrid's academy," he said. "I enjoyed it a lot because I learned the values of the club."

On the same note, he says "to play in the academy, to travel on a bus to Sabadell is to know the other side of thigs, in commas, the "ugly" side of football."
