Against all odds FC Juarez stunned America in the fourth week of the Liga MX campaign sealing a 3-1 win at the Azteca stadium on Saturday night. Gabriel Caballero's men played with one more player the entire game because America’s defender, Jorge Sanchez, saw red in the third minute of the game.

In the 10th minute of the game, Victor Velazquez from the visiting team had a shot on goal but America’s goalkeeper, Guillermo Ochoa, made a fine save. In the next play Diego Rolan took advantage of a mistake and scored the first goal of the game. America’s head coach, Miguel Herrera, was arguing that the Uruguayan striker was offside but the referee did not amend the decision.

Ten minutes later Juarez scored again when Jefferson Intriago ran down the left side of the field and delivered a fine cross to Dario Lezcano, who scored the second goal of the night. Even though America had one less player they never gave up and always tried to look for the victory.

In the second half, Sebastian Cordoba came to the game for America and he helped them improve and the home team bagged a 74th goal via Luis Fuentes.

Towards the end of the game America tried to tie the match but on the 90th minute, Bruno Romo from Juarez, scored the third and final goal of the game to ensure the three points for the visiting team.

Even though this is the fourth week of the Clausura 2020, America has one less game due to the fact that they did not play in the first week. Right now they are in tenth place while Juarez are in fourth spot.
