Andrea Agnelli, club president, has decided to take the reins as we enter the business end of the campaign, and has held meetings with the sports management team as well as with some of the heavyweights of the squad, including manager Maurizio Sarri, to get a feel of the situation first hand.

Agnelli attended the training camps at Vinovo in order to collect the required information allowing him, along with directors Fabio Paratici and Pavel Nedved, to compile a list of players who will be closely monitored over the coming weeks and months. Reportedly on that list are Miralem Pjanic, Blaise Matuidi, Federico Bernardeschi, Douglas Costa, Alex Sandro and Gonzalo Higuaín.

These six players, and the squad in general, have been reminded of the importance of the team needing to maintain the high standards that they've become accustomed to in Turin.
