With the passing of days, more details emerge relating to the alleged domestic violence case that has implicated Renato Ibarra after being arrested on Thursday, March 5th at his own residence. TVNotas was able to get a hold of the video where you can see and hear to the alleged aggression from the Club America player.

The video lasts about 20 seconds but one can see how Renato Ibarra, holding a metal object in his hand with family members trying to stop him from entering the room where Lucely Chala was.

In the video one can hear a voice in the background saying, “let them record, let them record,” and when Ibarra notices that Chala is recording he immediately drops the metallic object and turns around.

Lucely gives her version

He (Renato Ibarra) pulled my hair, pushed me against the wall and when he did that I was able to go in the closet with my sister who was with me at all times. I opened the closet door and Ibarra started telling his brothers that they should come and hit us,” Chala said.

She also said that their youngest son was witnessing everything that was going on and he was yelling, “don’t hit my mom, leave her alone.” Lucely Chala also said in court that Ibarra is a very violent person and his temper changes drastically, sometimes he loves me and sometimes he hates me.

“I am lucky to be alive”

In the same video, Chala said that she was lucky to be alive after the abuse her and her sister were receiving from Ibarra and four other members of his family. “Thank God I am alive and women should not suffer any sort of abuse from anyone. We need to raise our voices to end this.

Right now Renato Ibarra is being accused of domestic violence, abortion and attempted femicide and a decision should be reached on Saturday, March 14th.
