José Luis Higuera questions Rodolfo Pizarro’s legacy with Chivas
Former CEO of Chivas José Luis Higuera used his Twitter account yesterday to question Rodolfo Pizarro’s legacy during his time in Guadalajara.
Former Chivas boss José Luis Higuera used his Twitter account to question Rodolfo Pizarro’s legacy in Guadalajara because he doesn’t consider that the current Inter Miami player should be considered an idol by the fans.
Higuera published on his Twitter account what player was missed more after they left Chivas, Ramón Ramírez or Rodolfo Pizarro. Let us not forget that Higuera was responsible for selling Pizarro to Monterrey in 2018.
The fans ended up voting for Ramón Ramírez who won by a landslide with 65% of the votes while Pizarro only got 35%. A couple of days before Higuera made a similar poll asking the same question but putting Adolfo Bautista, Ramón Ramírez, Oswaldo Sánchez and Rodolfo Pizarro on the poll.
That time the fans voted for Rodolfo Pizarro who won with 42% of the votes but Higuera said that he didn’t win because the votes didn’t reach 50%. So he decided to narrow it down between Pizarro and Ramírez, who was voted in second place on that occasion.
Fans didn’t react well to Higuera’s answer on Twitter and he even said that on the Clausura 2017 that Chivas won the title Rodolfo Pizarro was not of big help that tournament even though he scored a goal in the final against Tigres UANL.
