There is speculation in Italy about Cristiano Ronaldo's potential return to Real Madrid but the possibility of the Portuguese returning to club where he spend a decade scoring goals and lifting trophies is practically zero. "He does not fit into the sporting policy of the club," said a source of the club. The former galactico remains in Florentino Pérez' high esteem "but his time has passed and there are different sporting objectives," said the same source.

Several Italian media outlets including 'Il Corriere dello Sport', who stressed it most strongly, speculated over the future of Cristiano Ronaldo's return to the Bernabéu. The theory in Italy is that Juventus want to offset financial damages done by the coronavirus and that they could put Ronaldo on the market. He makes €31 million a year althought the Juve players have agreed to reduce their salary during the crisis. They could get €60 million for the player, which is €40 million less than what they paid for the player from Madrid in 2018. It could happen that he leaves but his next destination "will not be Madrid" said the source.

The number one priority remains Kylian Mbappé. They will not give up on the French striker even though they are aware of the difficulties it might bring about. If Madrid do plan on bringing in a crack, it will be Mbappé. They have changed their strategy lately and want to build on that with the likes of Vinicius and Rodrygo coming in as young players and big futures ahead of them.
