Today we welcome 16-year-old Real Madrid player @biglesiass10 to the Common Goal team with Bruno’s 1% pledge going towards the Common Goal COVID-19 Response Fund. “It is true that footballers are privileged, we have facilities, a salary, sponsorship of sports brands, but we must not stop thinking about everything that is not material, even more so at my age," said Bruno. “We must worry about what is truly important, and have empathy with everyone else, and just behave like normal people, which is what we are." We have a #CommonGoal ⚽️❤️🌍
"It's a great opportunity for me," Bruno said. "To join this great group of people and to do my bit, however small. It is true that footballers are privileged, we have facilities, a salary, sponsorship of sports brands, but we must not stop thinking about everything that is not material, even more so at my age. We must worry about what is truly important, and have empathy with everyone else, and just behave like normal people, which is what we are," the canterano said.
Bruno, a midfielder, has already represented Spain at under-17 level and currently plays for Real Madrid's Juvenil C side.
