64. Carolina Panthers (from Seattle Seahawks via Kansas City Chiefs) select Jeremy Chinn, S from Southern Illinois

Thanks for following our coverage of the second round of the draft. We liked the Bengals picking Tee Higgins for new QB Burrow to hit and the Ravens move for running back JK Dobbins.

64th pick of the 2020 draft is Jeremy Chinn, who goes to the Carolina Panthers. That's the end of the second round!

Final pick of the second round will go to Carolina Panthers after they traded up with the Seahawks.

Kansas City Chiefs decide it’s going to be Willie Gay Jr, LB from Mississippi State for the 63rd pick in the 2020 draft.

Kansas City Chiefs up next with the penultimate pick of the second round.

Packers decide to go for a running back in round 2. AJ Dillon from Boston College.

Tennessee Titans will go for a CB. Kristian Fulton from LSU.

Patriots trade up to get Michigan end, Josh Uche.

Baltimore Ravens were on the clock, but the Patriots have traded up! 60th pick for them.

New York Jets go for a wide receiver, Denzel Mims from Baylor. That’s a big need filled there. Occasional doubts over his handling, but he's so athletic.

Vikings go for Ezra Cleveland, OL from Boise State

Minnesota Vikings up next. Already picked up Justin Jefferson, WR and Jeff Gladney, CB. Good draft so far.

And... LA Rams go for Van Jefferson, WR from Florida

Los Angeles Rams up again for the 57th pick, after selecting Cam Akers, RB from Florida State with the 52nd pick. They need a lot of everything, apart from QB and RB...

Miami Dolphins up again with a pick traded from New Orleans Saints. They go for Raekwon Davis, DL from Alabama.

Baltimore Ravens get JK Dobbins, RB from Ohio State. Ideal running back for Baltimore. Good move from them to trade into the 23rd pick of tonight and pick up a "football prodigy" from Texas.

Baltimore Ravens next. They took Patrick Queen, LB in the first round.

Buffalo Bills get first-round value with A.J. Epenesa, DL from Iowa.

Philadelphia Eagles have the 21st pick of the night. Safety? No, QB! Jalen Hurts from Oklahoma. Second Jalen of the draft for them after picking up WR Jalen Reagor in the first round.

Rams take Cam Akers, RB from Florida State. He's a nimble number, expect great things from Akers in the NFL.

Rams on the clock...

Trevon Diggs,  is the pick from the Cowboys. CB from Alabama. They needed another corner back, so that's that problem fixed.

Dallas Cowboys up next, they went for WR CeeDee Lamb in the first round. So expect them to go defensive here.

Chicago Bears go for Jaylon Johnson, CB from Utah. He’s a big unit. Instinctive, physical. Notably good hands. And he should slot straight into the Bears set-up.

Pittsburgh Steelers probably going to go WR here for the 49th pick of the draft. And it is. Chase Claypool, WR from Notre Dame. He's tough and has some speed too.

Seahawks go Darrell Taylor, EDGE from Tennessee. That's a surprising pick that many are questioning. Fast out of the blocks, but he’s not consistent, yet. He’ll pull off a run of sacks and then have a long barren spell.

Seahawks up next, with the Jets trading out. Jets getting an extra fourth round pick with that.

Atlanta Falcons double down on defense and go with Marlon Davidson, DL from Auburn. 6 feet 3, 303 lbs, very aggressive. Would have been no surprise if he’d been picked up in the first round.

Atlanta Falcons have 47th pick and that pick is already in… coming up!

Denver Broncos  go for K.J. Hamler, WR from Penn State. Broncos looking very dangerous up front now… Atlanta up next.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Antoine Winfield JR, S from Minnesota versatile, great hands, great mindset, and not a bad dad too.

Chicago Bears are getting Cole Kmet, TE from Notre Dame as their first second round pick. 10 TEs on the roster for the Bears now. Seems a bit excessive. Impactful player, particularly in the red zone though.

Browns pick Grant Delpit, S from LSU. 38 missed tackles in the last two seasons, but there’s no doubt there’s a lot of potential there. Can he produce it in the NFL?

Chicago Bears are getting Cole Kmet, TE from Notre Dame as their first second round pick. 10 TEs on the roster for the Bears now. Seems a bit excessive. Impactful player, particularly in the red zone though.

42nd pick. Jaguars are going offensive, Laviska Shenault, Jr. WR from Colorado. He’s struggled with injury, but so much promise. He can go round his opponents… or just straight through them.

The Colts, taking Cleveland's 40th pick, go for Jonathan Taylor, RB from Wisconsin

Houston Texans take defensive lineman Ross Blacklock.

Next up will be the Houston Texans taking this pick from the Arizona Cardinals.

Miami Dolphins select Guard Robert Hunt from Louisiana.

Carolina Panthers go with Yetur Gross-Matos, DE, from Penn State.

Panthers pick is in and the Miami Dolphins are on the clock..

Patriots into the draft process and they've gone with Kyle Dugger, defensive back.

New York Giants are going with safety Xavier McKinney as the 36th pick! He's the best safety in the draft, and has outstanding footballing instincts.

New York Giants pick is in. Nobody's wasting much time here.

Detroit Lions go with: D'Andrew Swift, RB from Georgia. Interesting pick - he's great coming out of the backfield. 6.6 yards/rush average...

Detroit Lions pick in too... just waiting on the Commissioner.

Colts pick is in! 34th pick. They go for a wide receiver too. Michael Pittman! His father won SB XXXVII... it's in the blood.

Tee Higgins is a big athlete - all 6 foot 4 of him - and he's played every receiver spot. He's versatile and very dangerous.

33rd pick in 2020 draft is: Tee Higgins, wide receiver! Another weapon for new QB Burrow!!

Bengals pick is in! News coming  up...

Zac Taylor is on the phone. He looks remarkably relaxed about it all. Bengals under three minutes left. But you've got to think they already know who they are going for.

Bengals coach Zac Taylor has his whole family with him, wife and three kids all helping him make his second pick of this draft.

Roger Goodell NFL Commissioner is in the house. Well, he's in his house. Says thank you to the 32 men drafted last night, and thank you to everyone who tuned in, giving the draft a record audience.

Bengals on the clock

No trades from the Bengals, so they are up first!

Draft underway, with Peyton Manning

Things are underway, with a stirring speech from Peyton Manning about the hope the draft brings, especially in these times.

Zack Baun up first?

The Bengals could do with a linebacker, and Zack Baun could be just the man for them. Agile, explosive and ascending is one way to see him.

Burrow

Lowdown on Burrow

Here’s all the info on the 2020 draft’s first pick Joe Burrow.

Nathan White, who coached Burrow with Athens High School in Ohio, sees attributes in the 23-year-old comparable to some of the league's great names.

However, White also believes Burrow is "unique" and hopes he can similarly establish himself as a leading star.

"That's something I've thought a little bit about. I think a lot of people have compared him to Tom Brady a little bit," White told Stats Perform.

"I think he's got a bit of Tom Brady, as far as the leadership and swagger. I think Drew Brees a little bit, with the accuracy and commanding the scheme on the field. They run a similar offense.

NFL

Record audiences for the the first round

With almost all sport on lockdown, last night’s first round broke audience records.

Who's available?

Running backs went nearly untouched during the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, but the position figures to be a popular one this evening.

These are the top 20 available prospects entering Round 2, (based on Field Level Media's pre-draft rankings).

Player, Position, School, (Pre-draft ranking)

--D'Andre Swift, RB, Georgia (18): Instinctive, physical runner with burst and bounce, as well as soft, reliable hands. Next in long line of star Georgia RBs.

--Laviska Shenault, Jr., WR, Colorado (19): Physical mismatch whose size, speed, power and experience playing multiple positions make him one of draft's wildcards.

--Grant Delpit, S, LSU (21): Reigning Thorpe Award winner has all the traits scouts want at safety, including smarts, grit and leadership.

--Jonathan Taylor, RB, Wisconsin (22): Only 2nd RB to ever eclipse 2,000 rushing yards twice (Iowa State's Troy Davis). Stunned with 4.39 in 40 at Combine.

--A.J. Epenesa, DE, Iowa (23): Combine proved he's a better football player than athlete. Terrorized Big Ten with combined 22 sacks, 8 FF in 2018-19.

--Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama (26): Long-armed, highly athletic press corner carries on the Alabama tradition of top-rated DBs. Brother of Bills WR.

--Prince Tega Wanogho, OT, Auburn (27): Native Nigerian didn't begin playing football until high school. Prototypically built with elite athleticism screams upside.

--Ashtyn Davis, S California (30): Nationally underrated former walk-on whose instincts, physicality and grit bely his All-American track background.

--Jacob Eason, QB Washington (31): Rocket-armed, pocket-passer whose rare traits (and sporadic accuracy) have earned Joe Flacco, Josh Allen comparisons.

--Matt Hennessy, C, Temple (32): Light-footed interior lineman with elite quickness and agility to project as an immediate starter for zone-blocking team.

--Ezra Cleveland, OG, Boise State (33): Early entry but three-yr starting LT wowed with athleticism at Combine. Below-average arms (33 3/8) could push him inside.

--Raekwon Davis, DT, Alabama (34): Much more of the long-armed, powerful run-stuffer than his 8.5 sacks in 2017 suggest. Only 2 combined sacks since.

--J.K. Dobbins, RB, Ohio State (36): Sherman tank of a RB with terrific burst, bounce and leg drive. Eclipsed 1,000 rushing yards all three years at OSU.

--Josh Jones, OT, Houston (37): 4-year starting LT with size, power to play either side. Still a work in progress fundamentally after 5 OL coaches at HOU.

--Zack Baun, OLB, Wisconsin (39): Former HS QB terrorized them in breakout 2019 season, jumping from 2.5 sacks to 12.5. Agile, explosive and ascending.

--Ross Blacklock, DT, TCU (40): Penetrating three-technique DT with impressive burst and latral agility to split gaps. Missed 2018 with a torn Achilles.

--Yetur Gross-Matos, DE, Penn State (41): Quick-twitch, long-armed edge rusher with inspirational backstory. Needs to get stronger but offers exciting upside.

--Jordan Elliott, DT, Missouri (42): Texas-transfer. Strong, active hands to grip, slip blockers, 'rassle ballcarriers to ground. Better reacting than disrupting.

--Lucas Niang, OT, TCU (43): Long-armed & athletic RT who entered 2019 among top-rated seniors, overall. Just 7 games in 2019 due to hip surgery.

--Jaylon Johnson, CB, Utah (44): Supremely confident cover corner with sticky hands, loose hips and sweet feet. 21 PBUs, 6 INTs, 2 TDs in 2018-19.

Socially distanced draft

The draft of course this year is practicing full on social distancing, so it’s a video based format. You can check out how the NFL reached that decision and how it works here.

Bengals up first - probably

Tonight the Bengals will once again (probably - there are rumours they may look to trade) get us under way - they went with QB Joe Burrow in their first round.

Second up will be the Indianapolis Colts who take the Redskins’ slot in this round with the Redskins having traded their pick last year to grab Montez Sweat late in the first round. Sweat improved as the season went on, but missing a second-round pick has got to be tough for new Washington coach Ron Rivera as he looks to rebuild

Good evening and welcome to our live coverage of the second round of the NFL Draft 2020! If you missed the first round last night you can see how the picks went down with our coverage.
