Juventus wait as Serie A start officially pushed back
The federation's decision is in alignment with that of the Italian government, with a prime ministerial decree suspending "sporting events and competitions".

Italy began 'phase two' as one of the countries hardest hit by the coronavirus pandemic eases itself out of lockdown. This comes after 99 new deaths were recorded on Monday, the lowest daily toll since early March, and eyes around the nation and beyond are also on how and when top flight football may return.

Serie A not back till mid-June at earliest
The likes of Juventus, Inter Milan and Lazio have been told by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) that the Serie A will remain suspended until at least 14 June.
The Italian top flight has been on hold since 9 March because of the coronavirus pandemic but it had been hoped it would be clear to resume on 13 June, with clubs back in team training on Monday.

However, the league will now not be able to restart until 15 June at the earliest.
The FIGC's decision is in alignment with that of the Italian government, with a prime ministerial decree suspending "sporting events and competitions of all types and disciplines, in public or private places" until 14 June as part of "urgent measures to contain the contagion throughout the national territory".
Defending champions Juventus were a point clear of Lazio at the top of the table when the season was brought to a halt. Wednesday will see major decisions regarding potential reforms in the league take place.
