Christopher Aurier has died after being shot in the French city of Toulouse early on Monday morning, it has been confirmed.

"The Club is deeply saddened to confirm media reports that Serge Aurier’s brother passed away in the early hours of this morning," Tottenham said on Monday.
"Everybody at the Club sends their sincerest condolences to Serge and his family. Our thoughts are with them all."

Christopher Aurier reportedly killed at Toulouse nightclub
Christopher Aurier, 26, died in hospital after being shot at about 5am on Monday morning at a nightclub on the outskirts of Toulouse, French media has reported.
The suspected gunman fled the scene and is being sought by police, Reuters has reported, citing a French law-enforcement source.

Also a footballer, Christopher Aurier played for fifth-tier French club Toulouse Rodeo, having graduated from the youth system at RC Lens.
