Xavi tests positive for Covid-19
The Barcelona legend, now at Al Sadd is in isolation after testing positive for the novel coronavirus. He confirmed he is feeling ok.
Xavi Hernández has confirmed on Twitter than he has tested positive for Covid-19. The former Barcelona player, who is currently coach of Qatar side Al Sadd said he tested positive for the novel coronavirus and is in isolation until he has been given the all clear.
Xavi : A few days ago, following the @qsl protocol, I tested positive in the last COVID19 test. Fortunately, I’m feeling ok, but I will be isolated until I am given the all clear. Xavi "feeling ok" with Covid-19 infection
The 40-year-old midfielder turned coach said he was "feeling ok" despite the infection and that he "will be very eager to return to my daily routine and work" as soon as the club's health services give him the all clear.

With Xavi tweeting the news of his positive test for Covid-19 on Saturday morning, Xavi instantly became a trending topic on Twitter, with fans and institutions alike wishing him all the best.

Xavi won the Champions League four times and LaLiga eight times in a glittering career with Barcelona, and lifted the World Cup in 2010 with Spain, also winning the European Championships in 2008 and 2012.
