World Cup 2022 stadiums with the smartest systems in the world

Equipping the World Cup stadiums with the most intelligent systems in the world, in order to provide the best services to fans, is one of the priorities of those responsible for Qatar 2022, as well as giving the media the opportunity to carry out their duties to the best of their ability.

In this sense, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Thani, executive vice president of the Orido Group, confirmed on television that the company plays a very important role in preparing the World Cup stadiums. He said: "It is true that Qatar 2022 is one of the most important international events, and one that hugely anticipated. We are sure that it will be an extraordinary edition of the competition for everyone and, therefore, the Orido Group will maintain the level of the event, allowing us to fit the World Cup stadiums with the smartest systems in the world.

“There will be a single control station for the eight World Cup stadiums,” he continued, “in an experience that will be the first of its kind. FIFA plans to transfer that technology to the whole world after Qatar 2022, therefore we strive to provide perfection on a communications level, taking advantage of the experience we have acquired from hosting other events in Qatar, such as the 2019 IAAF World Championship and the Club World Cup. Especially key are the successes of the company in the fields of digital transformation, information technology, and the application of G5 optical fibre technology, which currently covers more than half a million homes in the State of Qatar.”
